An indescribable feeling compelled her to visit him at the hospital where she was moved by his spirit and identified with his pain. The meeting fostered a deep connection between them. This emotional encounter moved Orna so much that she was determined to find a way to raise money to help his situation. This beautiful circular work of art was created using the words of the Shema as the centerpiece. The Shema is considered the most important prayer in the Jewish religion proclaiming a declaration of faith in G-d and is recited twice a day. It is often said in times of uncertainty and despair and renders a sense of hope and strength by the power of it's words.
